Financial Analytical Report
This report highlights my data analysis and regression modeling skills. I examined demographic factors like gender, age, and education to predict credit limits and default risk for a Taiwanese credit card company. The analysis uncovered gender biases in credit allocation and showed limitations in the default prediction model. I recommended adding factors like credit score to improve accuracy. This project demonstrates my ability to analyze complex data, communicate insights clearly, and offer practical, data-driven solutions—essential skills for finance and data roles.

Data Visualization
This data visualization highlights my ability to present complex information clearly. Using a map and scatterplots, I analyzed U.S. state schools' starting and mid-career salaries. The map's color intensity reveals salary trends, while scatterplots with linear and logarithmic trendlines illustrate the relationship between starting and mid-career pay. Key insights include top schools clustered in California and lower-ranked schools in the Midwest. This project demonstrates my skill in making data insights accessible and impactful through effective visualization.

Data Pipeline Project
I developed a data pipeline using Python, SQL, and AWS RDB to transform Airbnb and NYPD data for demographic and voting analysis. I cleaned, normalized, filtered, and aggregated the data using Python and PySpark to ensure consistency and integrity. By optimizing SQL queries, I made data extraction efficient and enhanced usability for analytical purposes. The entire process was documented in a structured Google Colab notebook, and I created a walkthrough video to explain my approach, making the project clear and reproducible. This work showcases my ability to manage complex data and deliver actionable insights.

Advanced Excel Analysis
These two Excel analysis files demonstrate my data analysis and financial modeling skills. The first file uses regression, correlation, and ANOVA to analyze loan data, revealing insights like total interest sums and monthly payments, showcasing my ability to interpret complex data. The second file features models calculating present values of cash flows, compound annuities, and loan balances under APR and EAR scenarios, highlighting my expertise in automating financial computations. Together, these projects reflect my ability to simplify complex financial concepts and apply them to real-world scenarios.
