Who am I?

I’m Yashraj Desai, a Junior at the University of Arizona, double majoring in Finance and Data Science. I was born in a small town, Dharwad, India and I’ve always been driven by ambition and curiosity, excelling academically while actively participating in sports, leadership, and community initiatives. My journey to the U.S. was a bold step, fueled by a desire to expand my horizons and pursue a global education.

With achieving highest attainiable global wildcat scholorship, I move to the University of Arizona. Here, I’ve maintained a strong GPA while gaining hands-on experience as a Student Business Analyst (on campus). This role has allowed me to develop technical skills in data analysis, reporting, and digital transformation, while collaborating cross functional teams to drive meaningful results. I’m currently involved in a consulting project with Roche, where I’m applying analytical skills to streamline operations and enhance process efficiency.

 

My passion lies in leveraging data and financial insights to make strategic decisions. I’m eager to connect with professionals and organizations where I can contribute my skills and continue growing within the fields of finance and data science.
